As a true California beach go-er, I'm really not one to wear pants. No pants are the best pants, am I right? However, we do experience a climate change here in SoCal as summer turns into fall (however small it may be), and sometimes skirts/dresses/shorts just aren't practical.
I was lucky enough to snag a pair of Uniqlo's Ultra Stretch Jeans just in time for autumn and with the breezy weather and changing leaves, I decided to veer to the 70's side of things by pairing them with a collared tie-front crop top and flipping my hair at the ends.
Rayban wayfarers always seem like a good idea, so I threw those on and added my trusty low-top Converse to color-coordinate with my top.
The outfit still didn't feel complete to me, so I finished up with my favorite Kitsch midi-ring (use the code AUDRIESTORME10 for 10% off on their site), my brown suede choker, and a to-die for brown leather thrifted bag that I've had for ages.
Everything from the flipped out hair to the outfit to the back-drop felt like a modern yet super laid back version of casual 70's wear, so I just rolled with it. How about you, kittens - where are you on bringing 70's style into your look this fall? Let me know!
xx Audrie
